2. Josmo — Porvorim

It opened its Goa retail space in 2018 — a roughly 6,000 sq ft showroom on the NH 66 stretch in Porvorim — and is unusual in running a design studio and a furniture foundry under the same roof, so bespoke commissions do not get handed to a third-party workshop.
The work leans artisanal and sustainable: original designs made by local hands, seating, tables, storage, beds, lighting and accessories. You can buy from the catalogue or commission bespoke. Josmo also has a Mumbai presence, which tells you something about the standard.
3. Saudades — Sangolda

If the brief is a genuine Goan villa rather than a new build, Saudades is the specialist. Open since 2001 and run by people with more than forty years of restoration experience, it deals in antique wooden furniture from the British, Portuguese and Dutch eras, alongside Indian artifacts.
This is the one shop on the list where the stock is finite and unrepeatable — worth visiting early in a project rather than late, because you cannot reorder a piece you passed on.
4. The Flame Store — Candolim
