Lighting is the weakest link in most Goan homes. The architecture is generous with daylight — tall shutters, deep verandahs, high ceilings — and then the electrical plan puts a single ceiling point in the middle of each room and calls it done.
It is also the category where Goa is genuinely under-served. The state has plenty of electrical and LED wholesalers, but very few specialist decorative-lighting showrooms. 3. The Flame Store — Candolim

The advantage is context: you see a fitting next to the textiles and the timber it will actually live with, which is a far better test than a lighting warehouse where everything is switched on at once against a white wall.
4. Paper Boat Collective — Sangolda

5. Sai Leela Enterprises — Porvorim
